Mat Callahan, formerly of The Looters and Komotion International, and long-time San Franciscan (now resident in Berne, Switzerland), will return to the Mission to present his latest project, the “James Connolly Songs of Freedom” songbook and recording. He will also discuss the relevance of Connolly’s ideas to the current crisis in Ireland, Europe and the world. I’m co-hosting this event as an inaugural experience at Shaping San Francisco’s new digs on Valencia near 16th! Come on out!
